I kinda wish I had been chosen by a stray, instead I went to a shelter and let one of the cats there choose me so I guess it’s close enough.
My last cat I entered the room at the shelter and she instantly jumped on me and climbed me, the cat distribution system knows, I miss her so much
Haha. The precious girl I ended up with bamboozled me a bit. I picked her up at the shelter and she clinged to me and started purring, then when I got her home I found out she can’t stand being held. She’s a smart one though, I love her.
I’ve done that. I’ve gone to rescues and adopted a cat. I’ve gone to animal controls. I’ve foster failed. There’s no bad way to get chosen by a cat. But yeah, getting chosen by a stray on the street has got to be a really special feeling.

I try to touch every cat even when I know they’re not nice. Occasionally getting scratched or bitten, which only happens extremely rarely, is completely worth all the extra cat cuddles I get to have. Kitties are life.
