I think in both FF and Chrome you can just go to menu, history and then recently closed windows.

55 tabs, that is some serious gooning. If it is not private/incognito tabs this would not be an issue…

I can fill the tab row and after that every tab decreases efficiency. If I can type where to go faster than I can find the old tab, what is the point.

For Firefox Ctrl, Shift + D, it bookmarks all of your open tabs in a new folder.

Do it every week? Wish I could know how to make it do itself everyday.

Ctrl + Shift + N in Firefoxen will reopen an entire closed window. Handy if you have multiple windows open but only closed one. Related to Ctrl + N for a new window.

Is it different in Chromium based browsers? I just tested by closing a window with a few tabs, and T only brought back a tab from the remaining window, not the window I’d just closed.

Bookmarks are a thing. Then just open them up as a new tab group. Does FF do tab groups? I’m on mobile right now.

        You’ll find this hilarious

I used bookmarks for a while to bookmark my tabs and save them as text links

But as far as I know you can only do that one window at a time and…

        I have so many windows…

            Oh but I can

            I do use many tabs

I have entire windows full of tabs

I have two browsers full of windows full of tabs

I’ve been meaning to quit Google Chrome for two years

            I can’t

            There’s tabs in it

I cleared them at one point but then my Firefox was so full of tabs that I used Chrome for a while

So now it’s full of tabs again

            I am a tab hoarder

Also… I could have put these sentences in a paragraph but… I just feel like if I put them on separate lines, they’ll be easier for me to spot when I need them.

            I have a serious problem

When I do IT support for someone and I see they have more than 4 tabs open or (even worse) I see they have their entire desktop full of icons… It gives me severe anxiety and I go into extreme sarcasm and I have to give them so much shit or my brain will fall apart.

Funny, I despise icons on the desktop and never have a single one on there. But the number of my tabs is in the thousands (across multiple windows).

You have a Desktop? I haven’t used a classical Desktop to launch my apps in like 2-3 years.

Why search with my eyes, when I can just launch my apps by searchimg for the APP in an APP launched triggered by a keybind.

I never see my desktop, why loosing screen space when you can have everything in full screen, alt-tab around apps and launch everything by pressing META and typing your app’s name ?

There’s honestly something perverted about people’s need to brag about this.

Just stop. We don’t care that you don’t understand how browsers work and feel the need to keep 1500 tabs open at once.

Speaking about a problem or difficulty you have is not (always) bragging. It can be a sane way to share about it with other concerned persons. You know, that’s how we feel understood, and how sometime we find solutions.

And whats the point of a 1000 plus bookmark list? You save 50 sites at a time, you will need duckduckgo to search your own bookmarks.

Yes, i use folders for my bookmarks. But sometimes i dont know what the fuck folder i put that bookmark in.

Suffering from a something of riches, I guess.

There’s no point to a thousand bookmarks. Learn to purge man. You said that like it was a requirement to have a thousand bookmarks. That’s not normal. That is so weird.

Depends how you use bookmarks, it can be an archive of everything you want to be able to find again (and still be very usable for websites you need to go everydays)

I never understood why people would keep so many tabs open. Is it a chrome habit? Like you let your browser keep them open because it’s the default setting? You can search history. I feel dirty if I have more than 20 open, and it means I was productive.
