Russia is having problems supplying itself with diesel due to how many of their refining capacity has been damaged by Ukraine.

The only effect of this will be an attempt to shift blame from Trump for the shortages and high costs of energy onto Ukraine for daring to defend themselves.

Make no mistake this is a trick.

Russia HAS NO DIESEL TO EXPORT. They’re importing at a huge government loss from India.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/world/articles/russia-import-diesel-fuel-while-135000913.html

This fake deal accomplishes exactly two things:

    1. It lets Trump give Putin money for arms against Ukraine and all Putin has to do is middle man Indian diesel.
    2. It lets Trump attack Ukrainians when they strike Russian refineries because they’re "bombing our American diesel supply chain.

The US is a NET EXPORTER of diesel. They don’t need more fuel. The problem is the market price is increasing due to mostly Hormuz since Russian oil is sanctioned. All he’s doing is lifting this sanction to pay Putin to buy arms. Stopping Putin from trading fuel for arms was the entire purpose of the sanctions in the first place.

    Trump is a traitor.

It was all a scam. Trump had just put sanctions on Russia. Putin then banned all diesel exports from Russia in response, even though they don’t have much thanks to Ukraine taking out refineries and storage. Putin wanted trump to lift those sanctions so he offered trump diesel russia doesn’t have in exchange for lifting the sanctiond trump just imposed

    Played trump like a putz.

Serious question. Does russia have enough diesel product to export? I thought they had to restrict exports due to refineries strikes

The most upsetting part to me is that the G7 nations are releasing their fuel reserves and Trump is trying to give the credit to Russia.

Got to get those fuel prices down before the election!

We’ll see if the American Public has learned anything in the past 10 years.

    Present company excluded of course.

I would really hope this is the final straw for Americans to vote out every single Russia apologist out of office in the midterms, but if that had really been a dealbreaker for voters, Trump’s team probably wouldn’t have announced this in the first place. They know Americans care about gas prices more than foreign policy.

So we’re at the point where Trump is openly and actively undermining US policy again in exchange for Russia to swing the election in his favor. Got it.

Ukraine and the Kurds. They fight our wars for us and betrayal is all they get for it. Ukraine should let every Iranian tanker through.

Unfortunately, Russia like Iran will be able to use dumb missiles and destroy ukrainian energy infrastructure in winter. USA may have doomed Ukraine by not giving patriot missiles when there was a chance.

Europe is about to experience a winter they haven’t experienced in generations… God speed friends

Don’t lose hope. Ukraine will survive as long as Europe pays the bills to make up for Ukraine’s crippled economy. Russia works to end this by supporting AfD and National Rally and Reform UK, but European citizens still have an opportunity to prevent that.

Yes, but Russia was successfully overthrowing liberal democracy long before they invaded Ukraine. Since at least around 2012, if not before.

Oh man, guess who’s supplying Putin with bombs to stop Ukraine from bombing Russian oil refineries to protect themselves from Russia?

America is officially a puppet state to Russia, but now with live streaming executions.

What do you think Russia is going to do with the money to buy the fuel?

The US may not be sending bombs directly, but that is 1000% where the money will go. Just because they’re not providing the weapons directly, that does not absolve them of involvement.
