Note that Debridio doesn’t work without a Debrid service; it exists merely as a paid alternative to Torrentio for when it’s congested with too many users at once. Doesn’t happen too often thankfully.
I personally prefer how Torrentio formats results, but unreliability with the service has frustrated family members in the past (the point of using Stremio in the first place being to make torrenting as much like using Netflix as possible for non-techies) and made having an alternative useful, just in case.
In reconfiguring Torrentio, make sure you uninstall it before reinstalling it, as it doesn’t overwrite it.

Didn’t go with the MSNBC or Guardian ones since they linked to live feeds that might change, and several of the other ones that popped up first were right-wing outlets glad to be fed whatever the White House puts in their mouth, so CBC seemed like a good, well-balanced choice.

They’re dangerous and environmentally wasteful.

Osaka Man is clearly Florida Man’s long lost brother.

Polymarket isn’t a news source.

I will mention I did renew the real debrid subscription which seems fishy - I used to use TorrentioRD+ but it doesn’t recognise my subscription so I can only use Torrentio.
Torrentio is much more reliable with Real-Debrid than without; did you get your API key from Real-Debrid and add it while configuring Torrentio?
Even still, Torrentio can at times be unreliable, as other free debrid indexers can also be. An alternate option to use alongside or instead of Torrentio is the paid Debridio service ($10 a year).

It’s just gluing together data from random sources it finds with no care for the accuracy or recency of that data; Lemmy has about 38,000 MAU, not 77,000.

If there are no societal roadblocks to prevent anti-vaxx parents raising their children to also be anti-vaxxers, then the cycle of misinformation will only get worse as time progresses.
Regardless, parents should not have the ability to prevent their children from getting vaccinations on the basis of their own unscientific beliefs.

I would call Not Tonight a ‘paperslike’.

Agreed; Russia is a terrorist state that has committed atrocities in Ukraine, interfered in the affairs and territorial integrity of its neighbors, and denied its own citizens basic human rights.
In this rare instance, however, its foreign policy goal of opposing U.S. foreign policy has the side benefit of disrupting one of Trump’s blatant violations of international law. Not because Russia itself cares for a second about international law, though.

Good to know, thanks!

One thing AdBlock Plus has that I wish uBlock Origin had is a way to disable filters on one page of a website without disabling filters for that website as a whole.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Given that the Switch 2 is backwards compatible with Switch games, it seems dumb for a 2D indie game likely capable of running on the Switch without compromise to instead target the system with a far smaller install base.

There’s too many conservatives on the court as it is; a moderate conservative in this political landscape is just a regular conservative who would still vote on partisan lines on most issues.
The Republicans deliberately waited out Obama’s term to appoint Gorsuch to the court, so if the Democrats had any backbone whatsoever, they would be entirely justified in doing the same to any Trump appointee if in control of the Senate.

With lots of land that could be generating solar power instead. The solution to high oil prices is accelerating electric car adoption and reducing oil dependence, not bandaging the problem for short-term gains.

Made corrections to my comment. Importantly, Pentagon leadership should not be any more involved in the organization and celebration of any religious event more than another.
With 20 million barrels of oil going through the straight daily, there’s certainly be plenty of grift to go around if Trump somehow got them to allocate fees to his knockoff UN in the name of ‘peace’.
The amount of grift in the military industrial complex and the value of arms shipments to Israel likely outpaces what he’d realistically get out of Iran. Regardless of the outcome of the war, oil profits and arms shipments are up, and Trump is undoubtedly getting kickbacks from it.
