I guess amd will follow then

Title is a bit click-baity though, since the 5090 is a silly card for most users.

“he most significant example is expected to be for SKUs based on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 DV2, which will see an increase of up to 3,300 RMB, translating to nearly $500. Even entry-level GPUs are not exempt, as the GeForce RTX 5060 is expected to see around a $30 price increase on existing models.”

Did the cost of producing them go up $500?

They’re scalping their own cards. It’s naked price gouging, and they’re going to get away with it.

yes they are basically scalping their cards and gouging. but also yes, in a manner of speaking, cost to produce did increase as well. because otherwise, they would use their limited production capacity on even more profitable chips.

Yeah, there’s an absurd amount of incredible retro games, many of them free or cheap af

I’m starving these bitches out until component prices drop. I’ve got enough games to last the rest of my life if needed.

OpenAI can’t close their $30B raise, they got $11B and have scaled back their ask to $20B at a $1.2T valuation instead of $1.4T.

    This will not last.
