Concern of mine
A friend asked to put an album to play from the weird “vinyl” CDs of his, but I can’t find it.
Where’s the search function? ;-;
Monologue that came to mind as I struggled to find a #vinyl of mine.
While I don’t mind manually looking, it reminded me of a fear I have, of whether people can even still look things up without digital search tools.
Probably a more overarching topic, but didn’t know where else to post.
My collection is sorted alphabetical by artist name. It takes seconds to locate, brush, and start playing an album.
Now… if I were to sort them autobiographically, to find the song Landslide by Fleetwood Mac I’d have to remember that I bought it for someone in the fall of 1983, but didn’t give it to them for personal reasons.
