Backblaze storage is around $6/TB/mo last I checked
No Linux support
Rclone mount it
We use their ‘B2’ thing (which is pay-per-GB), not their ‘personal backup’ thing (which is the one without Linux support and IIRC is ‘oh it’s unlimited! don’t use Too Much though! how much is too much? oh it’s unlimited!’). B2 is “S3 compatible” storage not a regular thing, so it’s kind of a hassle to work with, but some backup tools can back up to S3-style storage (we use restic for that).

Define “cheap.”
For free, no. For cheap, that depends on what “cheap” means to you.
Dropbox will sell you 2TB of easily-accessed highly-reliable storage for like $10/month.
Your own RPi and a 1TB micro USB
Get two, keep in separate locations

Local is the only reliant option.

Have you considered something like a solid state drive made by a reputable manufacturer? I have a couple 1tb HDDs that are at least a decade old and still going strong.
google drive I guess?
Not Google drive, they don’t like large amounts of files or big disk imges
