The Chinese have a robot that will mop the floor with you.
Or you’ll mop the floor with its parts? Trying to get a mop the floor joke in here somehow. But those things fall down, spaz out and disassemble themselves.
Mine has a rag dragger, I wasn’t aware they had roller style, I’ll have to look into it. I just bought a couple extra mop pads and put a fresh one on every day or two and it does well enough but I’m sure a roller would perform much better.
I’ve been extremely happy with the cleaning performance of my ecovacs but I will say it’s not the smartest firmware and gets in more fights with my floor mats than I would like.
Mines a Roborock and I like how smooth I was able to integrate it in home assistant. I do have to pick up my bathroom rugs if I want it to actually do well in there. My floors stay a lot cleaner than if I didn’t have the thing, I don’t think anyone can go wrong even with a cheap model if it runs regularly, it makes manual cleaning go so much faster and easier. I’m not about to vacuum and mop myself on a weekly basis either, I just don’t have that priority in my bones but my robot runs every day and all I have to do is empty the bin and refill/flush water. I pick the stuff out of the vacuum bag though. I’m not about to replace that every time it fills up like they seem to expect people to do, it’s BS that doesn’t have a zipper or Velcro opening. One of these days I’m going to cut it open and iron on some Velcro strips.
Now you’re making me feel even better about my ecovacs purchase because it has a canister instead of bags :) Yeah everything standardizing on Matter has made automating without stupid apps soooo much more accessible, I love it.
Get a robo-mop, OP
That would be nice if the house I live in didn’t have all these steps.
If there’d be a roboter able to clean the whole bathroom, I’d buy it right away. Cleaning the floor is actually the quickest of my cleaning tasks.

Just make sure it has a proper roller mop and not one of those dirty rag draggers.

Shit, yours has a canister? Yeah, that’s the biggest part of the purchase I made that I regret.
