      One can’t go without sleep for more than 4 days, but you can go without food for weeks.

    Sorry if my intent isn’t clear enough, I was being sarcastic (hence the focal element is a sleepy face). People seem to be thinking more that they can get over with less sleep and more time to work/entertainment, which is not healthy by any means, and will lead to adverse consequences. Thought I should clear this out, and sorry again about this.

        No your message is fine and perfectly clear. But the sarcasm felt like a joke from a meme community which is most of what I see on Lemmy so when i saw it I assumed for a moment it was a beautiful meme.

        You have a good mathematical eye. (This is the best compliment I have to offer to any visual art)

        Going through your profile I also liked most of your compositional choices.

    My whole life I have always hated sleeping. It makes me feel like I’m wasting time and being lazy, even if all I do for the day is watch tv or read novels, that in my mind feels much more productive than sleep. I hate that my brain thinks this way, but I still regularly will only sleep five or six hours before forcing myself up. It’s like this overwhelming feeling of guilt if I lay in my bed. I have no idea why or when this started.

      This has become a routine thing for me since I started college, even though I hate it and despite knowing It’s bad, I keep squeezing my days to get away with less sleep hours, which lead me to a troublesome sleeping issues lately.
