They do this every year and the article forgets to mention that they were less than the years before. It would also be nice to add some more details about Woelki who made the news for helping pedophile priests hide their dirty laundry.
The 2,500 people in Berlin, Cologne and Zurich, were fundamental Christians - in Berlin as few as in 2004 (article in German).
As someone already said, they do this every year.
