Actually it’s the entirety of scandinavia (save oil rich norway). The economy of scandinavia has been predicated on privileged access to the US market in exchange for influence on the EU political zeitgeist. Don’t get to uppity though, thinking you can have a world leading multinational, you get nokia’d.
Le Chat is far better than GPT5 at coding, especially when not using English. I was surprised by how good it is given its smaller footprint in terms of international visibility. Furthermore, their edge model, ministral, Is surprisingly capable. Just run it offline on a small machine for a bit of fun. It’s also vision capable but I haven’t benched those capabilities on it.
That index is completely and utter useless as it’s based on perception. Denmark is one of the most corrupt European countries, but, given the local culture accepts nepotism as normal, people don’t perceive it as corruption, whereas in Spain and Portugal, pretty low on that index, it’s scandalous and features on newspapers.
