I’ve played a lot of this game already and it all felt really solid. Super surprised with how much they’ve changed!

If all you want to do is game, why not get a Steam Deck?
What bike lanes? I wish there were any bike lanes to take away. I don’t count trash filled gutters.
This is the closest thing I’ve heard of that does some sort of casting. AFAIK it doesn’t replace chromecast. I’ve never actually used it.
My solution to this since my house is small is to use an amp that supports multiple speakers that all the devices connect to and then wire speakers through the house. I’ve thought about connecting the amp to a small computer and streaming the audio to my sheds using ROC. The neat thing about this solution is I can play my records and tapes too and listen to them seamlessly between rooms.
If you like Doom Metal you have to listen to Witch Mountain.
A Way Out is an interesting one. Very story driven with some FPS stuff near the end.
Yes! I’ve played a fair bit of KCD 2. Really enjoying it!
Oblivion is my favorite Elder Scrolls. I actually played it again recently and thought it held up pretty well. I’m a sucker for wandering lush bucolic landscapes though.
Same. I’ve had a few big config purges and migrations every few years, but I’m always neovim.
I started using Neovide as a frontend so people could follow what I’m doing (it adds animated cursor movement, etc.) I actually found that I really like it and rarely use a terminal to run neovim now.
I switched over to GrapheneOS a couple months ago and couldn’t be happier. If you have a Pixel the switch is really easy. The biggest obstacle was exporting my contacts from my google account.
Nintendo controllers 😬
My experience may be dated, but I’ve always had issues with controllers on Windows and Linux. Less so with Linux these days because my controllers are dated and the drivers are in the mainline kernel.
The biggest issue was solved with steam and it’s controller interface / community layouts.
Funny, I haven’t heard of either those. If three horizontal lines is a hamburger then it makes sense to me that three dots is a kebab 🙂
I played both one and two when I was pretty young. My parents found gba games to be a lot cheaper on eBay. Turns out they were bootleg copies. Because of this the character transfer didn’t work from one to two. I was pretty bummed about it. Still a fun series! Ragnarok!
I have a fond memories of the game for sure! The world was really cool to explore and I did keep coming back to it. I think I got to the point where the combat became really easy – I recall finding a way to almost cheese it.
Sort of a dumb reason, but imo, flying a spaceship is not really what the game is about and that’s all I wanted to do. For example, I wanted something where I had to use orbital mechanics to dock with a station, but the powerful SciFi boosters in Elite Dangerous take all that fun away.
GTA for the Gameboy on the other hand, kinda rad.
I just realized the other day that I haven’t typed
!g
in months.
