Different state, but yes, no stipulations on where the liquour is in the car so long as the driver doesn’t touch or drink it. Fond memories of my early 20s rolling down to the bar in the back of a truck with the pregame still going.

Where I am there’s no statewide public drinking ban outside of schools or government facilities - municipalities can restrict it somewhat, but if I were to stroll down the street drinking I wouldn’t get stopped unless I was being a nuisance or clearly unable to function.
Can’t take alcohol from the bar or a restaurant if it’s open container, but if I buy a 6-pack at the store it’s free game.
I can also go to the drive-thru and get booze from the beer barn down the block, and the passengers in my vehicle can drink all they want.

This is how I feel, and I know a lot of folks who are in a similar boat. We’re sold this story of being financially stable, having a house, a car, and being able to retire, but for a lot of Americans that is looking more and more like a pipe dream each day.
The poorly educated/informed people eat up the propaganda like candy, vote against their own interests, and tear down everyone around them in hopes that they’ll be on top one day, and it simply won’t happen in the present state our country is in.
If you aren’t cooking by vibe, are you really living?
Baking on the other hand…
Calling Taco Bell tex-mex is dubious at best, as well! It’s definitely inspired by it, and has had some influence on the restaurants since; but it’s far too fast-food-y to be considered proper tex-mex. TB is in a category all its own creation, which is definitely not a bad thing.

I didn’t hear a single thing about the game until after it was already dead, and that’s why I’m not surprised it flopped.
If they’d done better(read: any) marketing or public testing, then it might have been at least salvageable, but from what I’ve read it seems like people weren’t fans of the character designs and gameplay either.

The thing about IT for older folks is you have to be up for conversation too. Most of the customers I have only get out for church, so if I come out to see them it might be the first conversation they’ve had in days.

By definition? No.
But if there was a situation like that, I’m willing to bet people would default to using the “first” title anyway out of custom.

“First Grandchild” has been used previously (mostly tabloids), but I think the “first” term is usually limited to immediate family

I’m surprised they thought it was going to do well. I heard absolutely nothing about the game until after it launched, which is never a good sign to me.
If it was free, I’d definitely give it a try, but paid multiplayer shooters just aren’t worth it to me anymore.

I get why people downvoted this, but you’re not entirely incorrect. The two “sides” do exist, they just both happen to be on the same side and aren’t entirely opposites like “left” and “right” would imply.
Until we see a socioeconomic party platform that wants similar reforms to what is seen in the Nordics presently when it comes to policy, there’s no true “left” party in the US, IMO

I will forever miss the old pepper and onion mix that CFA had before the breakfast revamp.
The chicken salad recipe was pretty basic, if I remember right though. They have it listed on their app, too, I think; The only important note is you have to use debreaded fried filets, not ones with breading on. Grilled will change the flavor a little because of the marinade.
Link to the CFA Recipes page (may open in app)
They’ve got the coleslaw in there too, but I didn’t work prep when we had it and cannot vouch for the accuracy.

Hands down my least favorite companion.
The original is in English, though?

Yeah, “strong start” is dubious.
I’m not considering the game fully released until the creation kit comes out.
If it doesn’t come till after the DLC, I’m just not buying the DLC till it comes.

Independent IT Contractor: I have a 4-wide 1080p screen setup. I keep Slack/Teams on one screen, the semicircle setup means I can only really look at 3 at the same time. I upgraded from 3 screens because I kept having to juggle windows around while troubleshooting someone’s webserver.
Also used this setup when I was really heavy into FFXIV- I like having wikis/alerts open and visible, so one screen for that, the game, discord, and then the last one was just for youtube/netflix.

I’m not gonna lie, I read this and thought “Didn’t that game come out like…10 years ago?”
Using the exact same name for a reboot/sequel is absolutely bonkers, especially considering the original was also just okay. I remember it being nothing to write home about, especially with DS2 coming out earlier that year.

I was gonna say, 116 had the libwebp fixes in it and came out a few weeks ago!

Considering how much work Elianora has done for the modding community, not really.
Plus, it’s active game dev. Of course they’re gonna have to sign a form of NDA, and given they’re known for their work, it makes sense that BethSoft would have a clause stopping any discussion of work before launch.
Basegame CS’s traffic system is notably bad - if you wanted anything realistic you needed mods to change it. No clue how CS2’s plays, but I can’t imagine it’d be much better.
