A lot of women use the phrase “all the good ones are taken” but the reverse can also be true as well. Where all the good women are also taken. So most dating apps are full of the people who can’t keep a relationship, cheat, aren’t investing into something, or are the “leftovers.” I have a ton of female friend and what I saw on the dating apps when we were 25 was horrendous. As you get into your late 20s and early 30s you start seeing a lot of divorcees and single parents who then don’t have time and therefore don’t invest. Or do “invest” but now aren’t worth it because their kids should be more important.
In these third places in Europe, can I film there? Would it be rude or possibly illegal to film there?
Y’all are wildly reading into something that’s pointless. You’re trying to beat someone down in your own class and finding ways to allow a divide in to separate you. These people reviewing food in their car aren’t your enemy. City planners, department of transportation, landlords, and CEOs are your enemy. They’re the ones that make the system the way it is that necessitates people having cars.
A third place isn’t going to solve this. No third place is going to be set for filming. Is going to be socially comfortable for filming. Just let these people exist and move the fuck on.
Modern family.
It’s just funny enough to be entertaining and has some loose plot that’s fine to follow. Easily forgettable, but great for throwing on. Also, it’s cool to watch the kids on that show grow up over its 10 year run.
Community
Parks and rec
Are others I would toss on for easy to watch. Although community and P&R hide a TON of jokes that make it even funnier if you pay attention.
What’s the acceptable number of dead people before also showing you’re armed is acceptable? Is it 5? 10? Maybe 1000?
If you pull up with guns they may kill you, but you have a better fighting chance than not. Plus if you were already going to die, since you’re so kind to sacrifice some people, wouldn’t you rather take some of them with you?
You’re playing by a made up set of rules where you think you being more moral than them makes you superior but it makes you dead and a loser.
You act like I’m advocating murder. I’m advocating letting the government know that we can also have weapons and fight back. That doesn’t make me a fucking nut job, it makes me someone who has read a history book.
Civil disobedience has almost never worked, compared to armed disobedience. Even if those weapons are never fired. The point isn’t to go in shooting, it’s to get the military and police to back down and give the people what they demand.
You’re advocating for us to all roll over and wait until this administration gives us what we’re politely but firmly asking for. Which will never happen. They live for a show of force.
Keep holding your beliefs, it’ll be the last thing through your smug brain before the government executes you.
I love how you mention “they” aren’t going to kill unarmed protestors, and then proceed to mention a literal event in which they did. This country is founded on the government and corporations killing unarmed protestors.
My only complaint (and I get to blame Regan) is that we can’t open carry here in Cali. That would help stop a lot of federal response if we had that capacity again.
I’m not for destroying government property since that’s property that belongs to the people, but I also respect that change doesn’t happen with complacency. Plus if it was a peaceful protest for Jan 6ers then why is this not considered one?
Every day I wish we didn’t have the current admin in charge since they lack capacity and bandwidth to take care of the real economic issues facing our generation and time.
Completely agree though that the national guard is in control of the governor. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if Newsom agrees to bring them in if the feds kick in FEMA funding like they’re supposed to.
The stock market did not in fact hit its all time high today.
The stock market works in quarters mostly. Check back in post Q2/H1 and you’re likely to see the impacts then.
They still have shoppers in them. Plus their suits/business attire can be nice to look through if you don’t want to pay Nordstrom or higher prices.
That said, it isn’t just Macy’s. When everyone is cutting their forecasts this early in the year (most started early in Q2) then it adds to a bigger picture.
In the article it says the CEO specifically called out the political pushback from pulling those programs in their quarterly earnings report…
In this case the main point of his conversation was that raising prices was inevitable due to tariffs, but that they’re going to try and “hold out” as long as possible. Whatever that means, but I suspect it’s trump appeasement so he doesn’t try and call them out. Which is also stupid.
I’ve been doing it for years… the print manager…
If you scroll just a little pass the surface level of their account you can see that OP has posted a dozen times in the Bills community.
This is highly dependent on the state and even the areas within a state. Here in California for instance we have the Williams Act which lays out a ton of guidance. Some of which impact students paying for things at schools. Some districts in the state view Williams Act and 1:1 Chromebook deployments as being something that the student/parents aren’t responsible for paying for even when they purposefully damage it. This can change though from region to region in the state based on how a districts legal team and its board chooses to read the law since no one so far (at least as far as I was last aware and I work in edtech) has pushed to see where it stops or starts. I’ve worked for districts that were on separate ends of that spectrum and even in the district that made parents pay for damages we still would give them a replacement and not charge them since it was added to a “tab” and only if they wanted transcripts did they have to pay.
I know you people in the middle and lower classes don’t understand, but this poor man now has to pull up to yacht club in a smaller boat, and he will only be able to afford 3 additional vacation homes this year. For you plots, that’s like… showing up to a team meeting without a Starbucks cup and having a “coffee shop” cup, or going to work and pulling out a bagged lunch instead of going out to eat. Think of how this will impact his mental health and his social status. Smh.
I believe a Mucci is 1/4 of a Trusses. Although there could be an imperial to metric conversion in there.
Totally forgot it was school shooting season.
For those outside the US, April is statistically VERY high for school shootings. Mostly because columbine took place in April and all copycats have since followed.
Based on my LinkedIn and various market segments each of my friends on their is in… I’d agree we’re in one. Lots of talented people suddenly looking for a job. The question for me is how long is this going to be a recession, and dumbass leads me to believe it’ll be 3 years and like 10 months of this bullshit.
Just as we fired most of the seasonal fire fighters. Perfect. The brewing shitstorm of this administration keeps sucking all of us down.
Al-Sharaa is actually kind of an ok guy. I don’t want to say that with complete conviction because unfortunately things haven’t gone well for Syrians for a long time and power vacuums can be dangerous when filled. That said, he seems to actually want to help his people, seems open to fair agreements and some more social responsible rules. I’m not going to speak on the woman as I have no idea, but peace with the Middle East and the US is a positive thing. Understanding them and being in a mutually respecting relationship will only serve us both well. I just hope that it ends up also being truly positive for all Syrians. They deserve peace and freedom after decades of oppression.
