If you meant that this particular religious behavior is moronic bullshit, I completely agree. I just don’t hold the view that every religious person is a moron because they believe in a religion.
You know how some people make the claim that atheism is a religion? This is why. People who think that anyone who believes something different from them is a moron and/or in need of conversion. I don’t like it when religions behave like this, and I don’t like it when nonreligions behave like this, either.

It occurred to me that I might be wrong about the locally stored database, so I conducted an experiment.
I put my phone in airplane mode, then went to my record player and played a song with my phone sitting nearby. Within a minute, my phone correctly displayed the currently playing song, despite having no connectivity whatsoever. This proves that there is a local database of songs against which the service can compare what it hears. Obviously the database does not include every song ever written, that would be ridiculous.
I never claimed that the phone was not listening, it has to listen in some way to recognize music. What I did claim, and have now proven, is that it can identify songs without sending the audio to Google.
IIRC, it uses a database of common and popular songs stored locally on your phone (possibly adapted to what Google knows about your taste in music, idk) and only goes online for matches when you do a manual song search.

Every Republican pundit in this country is already screaming about the trials being “election interference.” Preventing him from holding these rallies could probably be considered actual interference, at least until he’s (hopefully) convicted.
I listen to a wide variety of music, genres including jazz, metal, rap, classical, rock, dubstep, alternative, soft rock, etc. I find her music to be obnoxious, repetitive, and not at all creative. I don’t think there’s a single other artist that I like less. And it has nothing to do with her politics, that’s the one area I agree with her.

You certainly have the option to take your own lunch, and many students do, but the fact is that a lot of American families just can’t afford to. Lunches provided by the school are usually less than $2, and there are federal free or reduced-cost lunch programs for families that can’t afford that.
For my kids, specifically, their school provides free lunch for every student. Additionally–and this does not seem to be the typical experience–they both absolutely love their school lunches.
