A remake of “Let This Be Your Last Battle Field” (Star Trek episode) but the aliens resemble cats.

1·5 days agoNo mention of putting the ship on display like they are doing for SDCC. I can think of one room they might have it but you won’t get a photo with the ship. I imagine the photo-op with Rod is the only way to get a photo with the ship.

2·5 days agoConsidering two of the people I bought photo-ops with have cancelled (I can get them exchanged) this is awesome. I didn’t expect Rod would bring the ship to Vegas. Sure, it’s in San Diego for SDCC, but that is a official convention the brand is in attendance.

Technology@lemmy.world•The Backlash Is So Strong That People With “Pervert Glasses” Are Afraid to Use Them in PublicEnglish
5·7 days agoThe problem with Google Glass is that had a form factor which limited what could be done. On top of that it was a beta product and you technically needed to be a developer with I think C language knowledge to be allowed to purchase one. Even if you could buy it the device was like $1,000+ because it wasn’t a consumer ready model.
