I also think it’s dystopian but it is quite helpful information to know when they were fed and/or napped. If you pick up your child and they are unusually hungry or tired, etc it can be helpful. I doubt the caretakers have time to talk to each parent or they change shifts. Paper forms are popular at less fancy places

Telling a 22 year old he can’t object and the sentiment of “fine, I’ll find girls for you” comes across to ME as harsh and demeaning. If my father or a fellow adult texted me like that, I would feel demeaned and that the language was a bit harsh and could be softened. Thanks for your opinion!

His communication is harsh and demeaning towards you but he seems to be trying to help and care for you. All he knows is the life he has lived, sometimes people have a hard time imagining what you’ve gone through. Do what you want! I wouldn’t be too embarrassed. Parents and loved ones have helped each other out throughout all of time. Like others have said, just be polite and close the relationship if it’s a bad match!

Solidarity was cool but 2 clicks and a picture that doesn’t amount in any significant action or real participation and is VERY ignorable by people above the line. Took a hit professionally to move states and get out of and escape a few years of bad employers. Now I have a part-time job where I feel overqualified but it’s essentially the same price for me to be a stay-at-home dad most of the time with my new baby. So, I really hope that when she’s 5, I can have some semblance of challenge and purpose outside of fatherhood again. I am a video director so some sense of creating art for fun again would be nice, too.

I know there was a more common everyday wine with pretty low alcohol content and not much to any sweetness. Alcohol was a good way to ensure clean drinking water and naturally keeps out a lot of bad bacteria. That’s why drinking wine is way more common in the Bible AFAIK
