I can’t believe that none of these car companies believe that most people don’t like the large computer monitor mounted to their dashboard. It looks like shit. It’s distracting. It doesn’t work for the use case better than other options.

Dealerships are also concerned about the direct to consumer model that has shown to be viable and the inevitable tide of Chinese manufacturers taking over the market.

It has the potential to be a primary vehicle for most people.
After 100% tarrif, it might still be competitive with the lackluster options in the lower end of EV in the US.

it’s not the manufacturer that bears the cost of tarriffs, it’s the customers.
And the locals that lose their means of providing for themselves.
The counterpoints are about local US employment and thinking comparative advantage is bullshit.
