I have 3 imou dahua chinesium wifi cameras which are working nicely. They would be even better if I could get some cable to them. I think the most important aspect is the onvif protocol, then the encoding should be standard h264 no other bullshit, then cable if possible.

The nextcloud android app I use it to get a file off the server but not much more. Are you saying that the opencloud app can’t even be used for that at the moment?
shit i think what happened is I read about that announcement and got excited and then started hunting for that opendesk and somehow landed on opencloud. now i am even more confuse because opendesk seems to be more compatible with nextcloud but opencloud seems faster. i have to keep digging and run some tests this weekend
I only heard about open loud when the European criminal court made a. Announcement that they will drop Ms office 365 for this opencloud and I got excited. Makes me wonder why they didn’t go for next loud if it is European too?
I have no clue about the licensing, it appears to be a European project so I figured I could try it for a bit. But I realize a better approach would be to just test it out with a few unimportant files before I commit to it.

i think the way you view your politics is wrong. your reality is painfully simple. you only have two choices. dems of republicans. regardless of what you wish to happen within your democratic views, at the end of the day that is all you have. to not vote dems because they don’t satisfy your immediate wishes is incredibly shortsighted. i get it, many didn’t like who was put forward from the dem side. but what exactly was the voting option on that day? it was red or blue. T or H (ironically same letters both times!). bad choices? absolutely! same outcomes? absolutely not!

I am running endeavour os on my laptop with kde Wayland and I have absolutely no issues. None! Sure there are some fringe cases but for the large majority Linux is working flawlessly!
