Is there a reason we can’t just all use Quik across the de-googled OSes? Vendor specific solutions only further the closed ecosystem problem.

Quik, an open source SMS app on FDroid, handles this already without needing a specific OSes RCS.
Unless there is something fundamental thats wrong with Quik and its development, I dont see why one would be excited about another vendor specific solution. Quik works on any degoogled android, not just Graphene.

Yeah the redirect to open in an app thats only on google play is a fun part of this too… Very suspect.
That would be the OG Nutty Professor that the Eddie Murphy one was based on.

I lost a few IQ points reading this ad.

Dear lord no.

Agreed, just updated my comment for clarification here. But I’ll add that I still own any game I’ve bought on Steam that was pulled from the store. They tend to be on the better side here.
That said, DRM free for the win.

My use of the PlayStation platform had dropped significantly and moved to PC, and now Steam Deck as well.
And now I’ll just cease entirely.
They really love shooting themselves in the foot here.
And I suppose they will start trying to sue Steam when they fall.
EDIT: To be clear, the Deck can run GOG games with Lutris, and with PC I use a mix of launchers, not just Steam. My intent was to point out that many publishers seem to like going after Steam after they shoot themselves in the foot and lose users.

I have one built, just waiting for winter.

Vintage Story has cheese aging in cellar mechanics.

We were definitely expecting this, anyone who didn’t had their head in an unfortunate location.
So they actually spell it “donut” and not “doughnut”?

Someone please explain what benefits there are to being a state at all? I don’t even want to travel there because of how fucked up their rights and laws are…

Can I just say; get fucked.

Yeah, same. And this article is playing like thats on us.

I’m fairly certain you’re embarrassing your fellow Aussies who aren’t flaring sphincters at this point.
It does work with both iPhone and Android users from my testing. I ended up putting it on when I got tired of getting “person reacted <emoji> to <full quote of what I wrote>”.
Odd it isn’t explicitly called out.
