I use Thunder, the latest stable version for iOS. It works pretty well, and I don’t have issues with the app itself. It has a nice and customizable interface that is quick to parse. It is a paid app (I made the purchase, as I like supporting developers).

Just a dude on the internet, looking for content and fun! I love Linux, gaming, writing, reading, music, anime, walks, and occasionally movies too. Chronically ill and anxious too, that makes life quite interesting…At times.

I’ve gotten pretty far in the game before having to put it down for a bit, it’s a great game for certain! I do enjoy the level of detail in terms of how NPCs act and respond around Arthur. Red Dead Redemption 2 is certainly a huge step-up in terms of quality from the original game.
I’m not particularly keen for GTA6 as those games tend to be off-putting for me (mechanically and story wise), I also hate driving in games…Unfortunately, GTA tends to involve a lot of driving.

It’s Worse Than Imagined.12·17 days agoYes, UK and Aussie Terfs have been trying to disenfranchise transmen and women for a long while, unfortunately J. K. Rowling gave them a nasty opening to make their cruel work stick. I do hope for a revolution against these egregious acts, as American ancestors fought to make the English fuck right off. Ireland will likely fall to a similar fate, as there is a rise of anti-trans rhetoric in that nation too. I don’t think many places are going to be safe in the world. Barring communities who give a shit about their fellow humans, of course!

It’s Worse Than Imagined.291·17 days agoThis horrific and vile, this is why I wish we could’ve gotten a different outcome with the election. More horrible news to add onto an ever-growing pile of shit. I wish my mom would’ve chosen to divorce my dad and took us to Germany…Fleeing this rotting nation would’ve been a boon!
Yeah, I amended my comment…I get overzealous when it comes to defending personal autonomy and free will.
As a young lad, I knew with certainty and after great contemplation how solid my desires were; one of mine was to never have kids, as I know myself well enough that I love my time alone and freedom to do as I pleased without being tied down by children. Other young men can know, if they are given the freedom and space to contemplate their decisions; to examine their thoughts and reasons for wanting to do something before committing to said decision. He’s an adult by law, as long as he has weighed the positives and negatives of this decision…It is his to make.
I don’t think it’s too young…If you don’t want kids at this point in your life and know that this desire to not have children will persist, get the vasectomy. Having to deal with an unwanted pregnancy is far more of a hassle than getting a vasectomy! Based on what you’ve said, it seems like you’ve thought about this enough to make the decision.

This was such a big price hike in such an economically uncertain time. Thankfully, consumer outrage was strong enough to convince them to lower it back to a price that I still consider too high. I miss the $60 dollar price tag. 🥲

This person should’ve been laid off, but, somehow survived the unnecessary layoffs. Just because Microsoft wanted to burn money on AI, risk a lot on something that doesn’t actually generate meaningful profit. Tragic, and I hope it hurts them badly.
I’m not particularly excited about this upcoming dumpster fire…Already took it off my Wishlist.
I would assume that it could be the brand-new form of torture…People are highly creative when it comes to hurting others.
LostWanderer@fedia.ioto Technology@lemmy.world•AI is learning to lie, scheme, and threaten its creators during stress-testing scenarios3·1 month agoA fool is ever eager to give their money to that which doesn’t work as intended. Provided the surrounding image provides a mystique or resonates with their internal vision of what an ‘AI’ is. It’s pure marketing on their part, Anthropic believes that any press is good press. It makes investors drool over a refined AI, even though, Apple themselves have proven it through their many technical papers current AI is merely ‘smoke and mirrors’ however…For some odd reason, they are still developing their ‘Apple Intelligence’. They are huffing farts just as much as Anthropic is, they have to constantly pull stunts to gaslight their investors into believing that ‘AI’ is going to become a viable product that will make money. Or allow them to get rid of human workers, so their bottom line looks flush (spoiler alert, they have to rehire people, as AI can’t do many of the things a live person with training can).
There reason why this shit is shoved in everything is because it doesn’t have good general use cases and the collection of usage data from people. Most people don’t give money to AI companies, only those who have drank the Kool-Aid do, as they are hope-posting and gaslighting people into believing the current or future capabilities of ‘AI’. LLMs are really great at specific things, collating fine-tuned databases and making them highly searchable by specialists in a field. However, as always the techbros always want to do too much, they need to make a ‘wonder tool’ that inevitably fails and then these lying techbros need to quickly figure out the next scam.
LostWanderer@fedia.ioto Technology@lemmy.world•AI is learning to lie, scheme, and threaten its creators during stress-testing scenarios123·1 month agoAnother Anthropic stunt…It doesn’t have a mind or soul, it’s just an LLM, manipulated into this outcome by the engineers.
I love it when the Turn-off Adblocker prompt has a, “I will not turn off AdBlock or I will not support you” text. I click the fuck out of that. Every ad has a chance of being a malicious one that hijacks my control of the browser (these are really prevalent on mobile).
I’ve always had a stove top kettle, there was no reason to boil water in the microwave for tea. Up until a few years ago, I did not have a microwave. I prefer the even temperature of water boiled in a kettle.
I do! Being reasonably accurate as possible when typing is something that I value! It helps, as sometimes I am a goose on the loose, and don’t proofread my sentences before posting. The obvious errors are at least caught before they become final.
LostWanderer@fedia.ioto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What's up with the sudden increase in AI slop?275·1 month agoThey are flooding the zone, there are countless pro-AI generated content instances. It’s like playing whack-a-mole, I often downvote obvious and human-altered slop (it’s all slop to me). Unfortunately, there are going to be images that have positive votes despite the general dislike of said AI-slop, especially because I tend to block those slop instances these days. Naturally, most of it is objectifying women (something I don’t want to see anyway) so those will naturally get a lot of votes because people weren’t thinking with the right head.
Hmm, yet another feature to disable…I should hopefully be back on Android by then, however.
