Voting is the baseline. The absolute minimum effort required. Its the least effective yet simplest thing to do to fix things.

Anyone who doesn’t vote doesn’t get an opinion. But pretending that voting will magically fix everything on its own is equally dumb.

Or that they’ll vote no matter what. As long as one party can convince people that the other party is evil and they’re good we will never make progress. There’s no reason to actually protect the environment because it won’t earn them more support than they already have.
