I actually am very well acquainted with this. I did data analysis for the corrections system for almost a decade. Worked with universities, and other government offices, and bodies, on this subject, and it’s surrounding subjects. I honestly know more about this than almost anyone who’s profession never crossed into studying and analyzing this subject.

This is not the place to be having an academic conversation on the material conditions that drive poverty, and centuries of intentional disenfranchisement, and how those result in criminal behavior, problems with education, recidivism, impulse control, calculated violence, and the endless other factors that play into this situation, many we are just starting realize even are factors. I haven’t worked in it in about 10 years, so I am currently out of date outside of jaunts to update specific things when stuff like this comes up.

I mean we have had it out of the horse’s mouth he has committed war crimes, like firing mortars on crowds of people, and getting caught, having the mortar firing platform taken away, and then rigging a rocket launcher to continue firing mortars on people. Platner has said himself that he has committed multiple war crimes. This includes firing mortars at crowds of random Afghans, getting caught, having the the firing platforms taken away, then modifying other rocket firing systems to continue firing mortars onto crowds of people. This is just one of the horrific things he himself has said he has done. He never deserved to be a candidate.

and that was not what I claimed. The claim is that evidence shows it promotes cancerous development, it is not a complete carcinogen. So, you are addressing something that isn’t there.

The claim I was addressing said it was as safe as caffeine, but evidence shows it promotes cancerous development, which is not being a carcinogen in and of its self, where as evidence is demonstrating caffeine can actually help to prevent cancer. Also, you are completely glossing over the deleterious effects on organs that aren’t cancer.

The evidence shows that nicotine promotes the development of numerous forms of cancer. Also a lot of the data on this is out dated as it comes from studies done years ago on user groups that were using products that are now significantly more potent. There is also evidence of issues with the liver, and numerous other deleterious effects on the organs that have a growing body of data showing stronger, and stronger, correlations with nicotine use.
