Yeah look, they’re not all as good as 30/70, I definitely don’t like any as much. Enjoy regardless.

Cookin’ On 3 Burners - Organ funk
Odette Mercy and her Soul Atomics - female led soul grooves
30/70 Collective - funkified jazz and neo soul
Dyslexic Fish (now defunkt)
You’ve posted a few I haven’t heard, I will check them out.
Thanks heaps.
Community/College Radio is such an under utilised source IMO. No pay to play artists. Often a focus on local artists. Gigs and events focussed on the community. It’s the best. Do you have radio station recommendations?

1·6 months agoNo, unfortunately not. Was just wondering. Good job solving the riddle. I found it on their website, but it has only added to my track record of sucking at riddles.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's a great but uncommon comedy movie we should watch?
3·2 years agoYes to Hercules Returns. I let people know that if they’re going to watch it to stick through the first 20 minutes. It’s pretty terrible at the start.
Great find. Keen to get my ears around some of this. A four part punk series has just started on Patternradio.net, hosted by. Mark Hepworth. The first episode starts in the late fifties and goes up to the mid 70’s. It was a great listen, I restreamed on Mixcloud if that’s your kinda thing.
Oh, and they didn’t ignore Australia.

Totally agree with the music point. ‘Everything I It’s Right Place’ still takes me back to the creek of neon organisms I was floating along. It lulled me into that place quite nicely.
