I think a lot of it is due to stupid shop policies. I have been refused sale of a teaspoon for not having ID.

I often wondered how that works. Makes more sense to rent them than buy them, because you always have to pay some rent amount anyway.

I have a crowbar, reckon we could get a lot of it off in an afternoon. Pass it round and reach out your window to get off what you can. A few tiles left out of reach shouldn’t be too bad.

How short notice and for how long are important things I would want to know.
How much firewood and how many hot water bottles should I keep stocked.

Both are important to shift over to more renewables though.

Non violent methods work but you need far more organisation for it to work. 1 person can kill a billionaire. It takes action of millions to starve a large corporation.

Non violent and legal protest are not the same thing. Then there is violence to property only too.
Boycotts can work if you have mass support and are totally legal. Blockades are usually illegal but non violent.
Currently seems like there is a lack of organisation. Even simple stuff like stop using the massive evil corporations as much is difficult to get anyone to do. Even if it saves them money!
Never had a job where coworkers didn’t know my income.
We used to just laugh at you, now we hate you to the point that “made in america” is a negative thing.

Now that sort of thing could be more useful

Then we will get the worst rainfall on record and people will be like “lol what drought”…

Your employer can provide you with a phone for work stuff then.

Nope, not listening. I am using the increased friction as a reason for giving up and not using reddit at all.

Using Lemmy for most of the work day I’d why I need to charge my nearly 5 year old FF4 most days. Kinda curious what the battery capacity is like compared to new as I only got it a few months ago second hand.

Also curious, never used it. Got FF4, not sure if I have NFC or not.

Using WiFi to transfer is far more convenient than having to get cables out anyway.

Isn’t WiFi 6 faster?

Why graphene specifically? Using Calyx on my FF4 currently.

Cleaning it doesn’t really take any effort. Its not like you need to go digging around in there.
Apple juice can contain around 0.5% alcohol though?
