A Really patience demanding game - even when you know the story by memory you still need to click through all the pages to test options. I played three runs in a row and don’t feel like playing it for a while now. Which is probably good because it’ll make it last longer.
Probably not everyone’s cup of tea but I find the stat-mixing aspect of it fascinating, and I know I’m not alone because it’s how other players in the discord play as well.
Today: Balatro and Anno 117
Also this week: Stardew Valley. Started yet another new save, deleted all my others; this time I will take it from start to finish without starting any new saves. (I’ve reached perfection once already and gotten to ginger island half a dozen times)
SDV makes you feel so good.
“no it would take to long” is what I would answer if I was him
Crikey I think I might be
Fake: Anon’s work life resembles right wing twitter vitriol Gay: Anon loves the programmer. It doesn’t say whether programmer is he they or she but liking them is gay regardless.
Sure okay. Balanced.
Yeah, also it’s outrageous because American style/insurance based healthcare generates extra large profit margins and the system doesn’t even capitalise on that by transferring the surplus down to the nurses - the actual legionaries of the Healthcare machine.
And some few people try to argue that nursing is easy, so anyone could step into the role (it’s not) - but even if that were the case, it’s:
Hr is addicted to tiktok sounds like an anti HR trope and slightly lessens the credibility of the story so I can’t really trust anon without him expanding on that note
Oh yeah didn’t those fuckers crawl out of their hole to see the FIFA World Cup 🤣 Fraudsters of Masculinity.
“…again.”
Makes me happy whenever the swines who worship him have to face this fact
Yeah i hate it when people try and reinforce the idea that i deserve to suffer. Wtf did i do to him!
Even if you assume it was implemented with good intentions in mind, capt. was designed around the assumption that employers are already being perfectly generous and fair, tirelessly seeking out the most capable talent - including people more capabke than themselves - to work with them.
I however assume it evolved naturally. Though there aee some cases where a country will try to “re-implement” or reinforce adherence to a capitalist system after it slips away.
pic unrelated, i’m morissey

I have no problem with the "don’t get pregnant"s. I do have a problem with the “Quick Get Pregnant!!” It’s essential both to treat people kindly and also to prevent them making irreversible, resource-extensive mistakes.
That was a very very very interesting thought experiment and a very satisfying explanation for questions like “why did God create Hitler,” if you’re religious. Truly we cannot decipher the tapestry of history except for from the other side.
EDIT: while it’s true that someone else would have taken Hitler’s place, it’s clear that the premise of this greentext is actually “what if Nazi Germany never formed”

I finally got that log cabin in the woods i’ve always wanted

The statues sre there to remind you to punish them. “I’m busy right now but this guy needs to be tried for war crimes, here’s what he looks like”
I think that might be a regional nickname for it - it does indeed form salts which are loosened from the inside of the brick/concrete (both have salts in) by water, and then transported to the outside by the same water.
Coldplay studied this, learned from their mistakes and then mastered the art of claiming to be a christian band while simultaneously claiming to not be a christian band
Hell yes i’ve heard of Evanesence:
