software devs and other highly technical IT roles fail phishing tests at my company
Reddit did something pretty shitty this year and is the reason many of us are here.
Blizzard Activision if we are counting gaming companies with their sexual harassment controversies which have led to suicide (also the cosby suite), their shitty monetization schemes, and the utter ruination of most of their popular IPs
thats why these are called tenkeyless :)
They have until March 2023 to comply
somebody better let em know they missed the deadline!
Thanks for the response. I’ll check it out!
Does this support older Ryzen APUs? What about rx 6000?
Both PCs were having issues with holoiso and chimeraos
My assumption is some steam deck refresh or other handheld-related thing.
The comment line above the code block containing Galileo, sephiroth, etc, says “Jupiter Devices.”. Steam deck code name was “valve-jupiter”
Valve Index 2 is code named “Deckard” I believe.
Not sure of the significance behind the device codename of Galileo, or family of Sephiroth though.
Edit: would be cool if it’s a device for both. A portable PC handheld capable enough for VR.
A counterpoint to it being a steam deck is that APUs haven’t gotten fast enough to justify a new revision already, but maybe if the justification is that valve is confident that the APUs are fast enough at least for a whole different gaming medium (VR), maybe it’s possible?
Please don’t credit me for writing this comment. It was my hands I employed that did the typing
I’ve been using liftoff the most atm. Though none of these tick all my boxes yet.
Hmmm which one am I missing?
Thank you this is probably it. I for some reason thought it was intended to be a way to transition customers who paid for the reddit version. My bad
Agreed.
I will say I got to handle a galaxy fold 4 and if a screen has to be bigger, I don’t mind as much as long as it’s narrow like that phone. I was still able to one-hand it comfortably.
Siri set timer for 3000 seconds
That’s very creative and fun
Just a distinction: It’s most-likely a laptop issued by the company, not a personal computer.
Yeah I am finding Lemmy to be a haven of fringe political idealists, which is kinda scary.
? Imagine? 16 exabytes for NTFS according to multiple sources, like Wikipedia and Microsoft documents, and 16 terabytes for ext4.
If you want to refute that then it’s most likely you have just had some unlucky experience, and at best it’s anecdotal.
Considering your rather disingenuous second sentence, I can see that you are not here to engage in conversation, but to troll. You’re exactly what nobody needs buddy. Cya.
Good thought. I see some potential issues though.
I’m not well versed in how steam handles things like saves, configs, etc. I would think if those are saved in the steam apps folder, then they are indeed written on the location the game is saves. RO would also prevent updates as well.
Overall I think the writing to disk is much less of a concern than say having a whole OS on there.
Does RPi’s Raspbian support any boot moad like “toram?”. I have no idea what size those OSes are for a pi, but I wonder if things like that would help too. I know some OSes are designed to be less write-intensive to prevent some of this as well.
Nice find!! Yeah I haven’t had any issues with them for gaming. I only hit the order button when I saw a reviewer say it worked just fine on the steam deck.
for me there isnt much wrong with discord, i just prefer foss and self-hosted where i can.
