Competition shows in general… 90% of the run time is a sob story.
That’s why i like Forged in fire. Most you hear in this show is: “my kids are watching.” Or maybe a one sentence sob story that never comes up again. People don’t get an advantage because they have cancer or they are sympathetic, your knife is wrong, get out.
