This could be adapted into a strategy. Use some words that look like they follow some other pattern, deliberately pronounce them and volunteer a definition as if they do to prompt a challenge, basically gaslighting your opponent into losing confidence in challenging to allow you to start making up words later on. You’d basically convert Scrabble into poker lol.
