I hope people just don’t show up in the first place. Boycott the event. I say this as an American, the only languages these evil fucks in power understand are money, and violence – do not give them any money, do not come here, do not pay to watch the match (pirate it if you must). It is both incredibly dangerous for foreigners in the US right now, and hurting business (like the tourism industry) in America might be the only thing that actually drives the US populace and the money away from MAGA/right-wing christian nationalism as fast or faster than ICE murdering people in the streets. I can already tell you as someone that has worked in the hospitality industry, US hotel chains are probably already feeling the sting of the ICE crackdowns, and the fewer “heads in beds” there are, for longer and longer, the more pissed off all of them will get.
Seriously… Do. Not. Show. Up. Its just a bunch of adults kicking a ball around. Its not worth risking incarceration, its not even worth giving these fascists your money. Don’t go. Don’t watch. Don’t buy merchandise. Don’t engage in any way.
