I’m more and more against political donations every day. Also, as someone who works for a utility as a power plant engineer, why the FUCK is Michigan still running coal plants for a fifth of their electricity. I know plenty of states still do it, just boggles my mind every time I see it. NOBODY should be burning coal for electricity, least of all anywhere in the United states. The shit just doesn’t compute when I see new coal plants being built all round the world.
The longer I studied politics and realized that there will always be a loophole for someone to exploit, the more anarchist or even minarchist I became.
It feels like even in the best government, someone would find a legal loophole and keep extracting resources and money from everyone else.
