Is B.C. a common abbreviation? what’s a B.C. woman?
British Columbia. It’s a Canadian province. Their version of a state. It’s a common enough abbreviation that I somehow knew what they meant. I live no where near there. But it wouldn’t have hurt to be more verbose I agree.
It’s from the Vancouver Sun, the largest city in British Columbia. The post title matches the article title. To their audience, they were verbose enough.
