We can’t. I just want them to do their jobs so so we don’t have to babysit them.

what is happening to lemmy? that’s how a gop majority works. I know they stopped mandatory civics classes in 2001 but wtf. A lot of people have been really vocal with the same tired old lines recently. I can’t be the only one who sees.
No that’s not how it works at all. The dems when they have a majority usually don’t get shit done, but when repubs have a majority they some how get all kinds of shit passed because the dems have no spine…ie this vote on the budget.
This comic is highlighting how even when the Dems are in the majority, they can never seem to do anything, while the GOP manages to do a lot with very slim majority.
Lemmy as a whole is pretty Leftist, you’ll find hatred for the GOP and Dems as a pretty standard position.
