cuz ive never heard one on, say, Pandora. Do they still get played somewhere?

    Based on my experience, there shouldn’t be any difference between distributing a long song vs. a short one. You may not have come across them in the wild because algorithms, like radio, tend to favor 3-4 min songs.

    My band released a 14+ minute song a couple of years back. It took longer than usual to be approved by the distributor. We followed up to ask if anything was wrong, and they said it was just unusually long that’s why it took more time to review. It was released without issues eventually.

        I think it was Distrokid at the time. I’m not active with that band at the moment and I think they switched distributors recently. I use OneRPM for my current solo work.

          I know distrokid but not the other one. I’ll have to look em up, thanks.

          Edit: was there anything specifically that made you not continue with distrokid when you went solo?
