@LongestPath I wonder, why boycott everything? Should the people who suffer under #Trump be punished too? Seems like strange nationalist rhetoric to #BuyFromEU.

I mean I agree to boycott big business, especially big tech and everything owned by billionaires. It’s just that a lot of European brands are owned by billionaires too who are just as bad, they just didn’t explicitly get handed the keys to the government (yet).

As a democracy voted, the US voted for Trump - this is exactly what was signposted in Project 2025 & his campaign trails. We’ve another 4 years of this tariff bullshit, and his threats to annex Canada / Greenland, and him siding with Putin.

This isn’t punishment, this is the EU not siding with the bullies. If you don’t like the situation, use your power as a US voter and make your voice heard.

You’ve absolutely got a point about billionaires. None of them should be trusted. But right now the biggest threat are the billionaires controlling social media + tech, which are predominantly US based.

Do not draw parallelisms with Trump’s newnazi regime and Europe. Here we do not allow big tech to enter government and make nazi salutes.

I see your point, however, imo, buyers in EU can signal (with their purchases) that Trump’s words/actions have real (financial) consequences, and then those EU/US billionaires (who are benefiting from cross continent trade) would pressure him to stop doing what he is doing…
