      Wealth cannot be detangled from power, so yeah, this is dead on.

      We can have democracy or we can have billionaires, we cannot have both

      Incorrect. Those that are corrupt desires and seek absolute power & wealth more than an normal person. We have a few people in history who did had absolute power & wealth and uses it to great benefit for his people.

          I’d like to know too, I strongly suggest this is a delusion. Although the saying is a cliché, it’s a remarkably correct statement.
