Nice! Having read the first book over 20 years ago and having never watched the TV series, that’s a pretty awesome find for me.

Did I just find Wizard’s First Rule in the wild?

There are real? This was a plot point on The Great North and I thought it was something they made up, like cold weather and Alanis Morrisette.

I found it using my phone’s browser and I can’t remember how different the mobile page and desktop page are, so YMMV, but:

I clicked my name and a menu popped up. On that menu under “Your Account” I clicked “See all options” and it took me to a page that had “Hello” in the upper left, and beneath that a link that said “About You”, which took me to the page with that stuff.

I was sort of unimpressed with mine. It was all variations of:

-Likely lives in <city where I have every order shipped>

-Likely owns <thing I buy accessories for>

And then for some reason it thinks I own a Dodge Ram. I have four vehicles saved to my account. None of them are a Dodge Ram.

Clerk in the Orlando Mobil store: “Man, it’s weird that no one is taking advantage of our free diesel.”

Seize their assets and use that to pay creators whose works they stole.

Going back a few days to Ed’s original statement:

I used to like the briefly-mentioned contender “Generation Catalano”, after the character from My So-Called Life. But Jared Leto pretty much ruined that by being Jared Leto.
