the percentage chart gives a timeline but not much else. makes it look like humans are writing less, I wonder what those numbers actually look like, if people are actually writing less or not

try thinking smaller. where can you help in your community? volunteering is my emotional bastion against the larger, more uncontrollable horrors of the world.

this is a really good answer
i hate eggs and regularly type/say that and always get ads for eggs

try to opt for dried beans over canned if u have time canned beans are expensive these days. lentils especially red lentils cook pretty fast from dry, whereas white beans or black beans take longer but if u can cook a whole bag it should last u ab a week. u can season w season salt or bouillon or some cheap spice mix so u dont have to buy a bunch of individual spices.
i got my tubes tied and the option of adopting played a huge role. I cannot stand the idea of pregnancy, thats why I wanted my own tubes tied, rather than my partner having a vasectomy, that way I am in control. But I don’t hate kids, and I’m not entirely against the idea of adopting a kid down the road. Especially one thats a little older, I’m also not too fond of babies lmao
i just got my tubes tied at 23. I think I felt so strongly about it because pregnancy would be destroying my own body. You don’t really have to worry too much about that, but I still understand wanting to make the decision young. IVF would be an option for me if I were to change my mind. Maybe get some frozen just in case? Adoption is also a wonderful option! Best wishes
but these changes are small in the whole of it. we live a fossil fuel reliant lifestyle. what would you be willing to give up? cars as a whole? electronics as a whole? indoor climate control? constant hot water? heavy meat consumption? global travel? people care, but the human demand for all of these is heavy and hard to shake. sooner or later they may not be an option anymore

the only reason I look out sometimes is because my world is so small and I know there’s so much else out there that I don’t know about. Plus, I was a sheltered child so asking outwards means I get a variety of perspectives to choose and learn from rather than whatever bs my parents taught me

the alt-right podcast swing in the younger generation is really concerning to me. gen z used to pride themself on their political activism and progressive beliefs but I went to the No Kings protest in my purple county and there were so so few young people to the point where someone saw us and said “finally some young people!” Most people there were decades older than us. My generation has disappointed me these past few years.

so the scientific articles that someone else linked are fake but groks word is gospel ?
see if you can find a hobby you like. i really only dance for exercise lmao but im gonna try volleyball this summer and hopefully ill get some socializing too
brushing my teeth. eternal 2 minutes TWICE a day

god forbid someone wants to hear from an actual human rather than bounce around the misinformed echo chamber that are modern search engines
i really wanna visit pittsburgh some day! im in the midwest so the coasts always get a hoity toity rap but i think id prefer east coast cities, though west coast weather and national parks are unparalleled
not mine. its very car dependent and most old walkable neighborhoods were left for dead. its making a comeback but it is a US city that was ruined with urban “renewal”

you can serve with rice or bread, or eat them on their own
