My wife can apply for dual citizenship as the grand daughter of Irish immigrants. Her sister already moved to Ireland about five years ago. We’re making plans to protect our son.

My father in law is the son of Irish immigrants. According to Stephen Miller’s plan, he can be denaturalized and deported. Is it likely to happen to him? Probably not. He’s a relatively wealthy 70 year old. But once the brown people are dealt with, who will they scapegoat next?

I had the same experience with Scott Card. I loved the Ender books, the books about his older brother trying to be a good person when he was a “bad child” really resonated with me.

I’m currently looking for a second career job. I’ve put out literally 100+ resumes in the past couple of months. The only two positions I’ve heard back from were from agencies where I knew someone.
Asking for help/an in is not only acceptable, but in many situations, the only way to get a position.
Don’t feel bad for something everyone else is doing.
Conversely, anytime I’ve worked somewhere where a position opens that a friend of mine may benefit, I let them know and will hunt down the hiring manager once my friend applies.
