I’m reasonably sure that a timber building is probably still better than a concrete one, for the same capabilities, when total environmental impact is measured.

That’s part of what terrifies me about how complex modern cars are and how ‘densely’ constructed they are.

It’s ‘naturally’ occurring in that (simplistically) air currents in the upper atmosphere tend to concentrate ozone depleting compounds produced in the northern hemisphere (more or less) in the southern.

CFC’s are not the only ozone depleting compounds.
