I am not native English speaker but the first two sound pretty nice, almost close to native? The last one gives off the slavic accent at the very beginning. All of them sound okay and don’t have the ridiculous accent of slavs you see in movies and films.
Yea I do remember the donald, they weren’t really incel though, just a political sub if i am not wrong. Incels had their own subs as well that got purged at the time along with many ones as well. What was good about Reddit back then was that the platform allowed freedom to a large extent, didn’t bother as long as it wasn’t something in your face that violated the rules, either that, or they didn’t care back then.
True. For me, the quality there pretty much degraded around 2015-6 or at least that was when i started to notice the increase of bot use and such, but some would say it was even before that when one of its founder died. Even after that period it was still tolerable compared to what we have now.
Maybe it will get updated later. Btw, old Reddit still works with accounts. There’s something in settings that tells it to switch to new Reddit and it’s usually enabled by default.
Are you talking about those short reddit links? the only way is to go through them on new reddit then switch back to old.

Definitely. Just additional information for users who use Windows, Simplewall which is basically a GUI of the built-in firewall of Windows but it does its job well. I’m sure there’s something like that for Linux too. Hostman is also a good tool although not sure if it’s still getting updated where you can put blocked IPs, ones used with Ublock for example, into the host file of Windows. And lastly, from your router, but this method I have never tried it and neither mine support it.
So using Ublock Origins is mandatory for staying safe on the web, but i guess most people here are probably using it. Btw this isn’t something new, malvertising has always been a thing.
Sure, everyone knows what an RPG is, but they do also have certain expectations that come with them, such as stats and the like that you don’t typically find in imsims. Ahah! Maybe that’s the difference. Immersive sims are RPGs without the stats.
Both of these games had stats so they were RPGs. I think Thief is more like immersive sim or can be actually called as such since you don’t need to build your character at all. The game gives you all the tools and you’re on your own. it depends on the player how he wants to play the game, whether going full ghosting without killing or knocking or just backstabbing anyone on sight etc.
Btw Piefed has a feature where you could blur posts by bots. Does that exist on Lemmy or the one you have?
Anyway, I usually browse for the ones i subscribed to but i do check out from all fediverse to see if there’s any new ones to subscribe to. I don’t see any recommendations or algorithms here.
