Could be worse, but it’s a gamble. The big companies are just set up to get the rug pulled out from under them by creative young programmers who have a better understanding of this technology. Let’s be real though, I feel like this policy is designed for marketing the LPC to young less crazy conservatives. Instead of the CPC being pulled back into our shared reality, they’ve pulled the LPC into the griftosphere.

Mamdani told a heckler that he wanted him to be able to afford to live in New York as well.
A pastor who asked Trump to have empathy for people he doesn’t like, was attacked by the entire political movement.
When they say culture war, that is what they want winning and the realization really sucks.

Canada@lemmy.ca•No changes coming 'at the moment' for Alberta's recall legislation: Danielle Smith
5·7 days agoThe UCP never intended the legislation to be used against them, it was for them to use against left wing city councils. Remember the attempted mayor recall by now UCP backed city councillor (Lagdon Johnston) in Calgary? The UCP only governs in bad faith, this statement is just more gaslighting, if we could somehow utilize the gas from UCP gaslighting, we’d double Canada’s energy production overnight.

Canada@lemmy.ca•Alberta Separatist Pushes for End of Indigenous Rights at ‘Unity’ Conference
7·15 days agoIt’s interesting, but when you google this guy you get a great insight into the conservative echo chamber in Alberta/Canada, he works for multiple conservative organizations & think tanks, he writes for Postmedia, Juno News, and is a huge decimator of pro-GOP misinformation among the CPC base.
He’s a big part of their targeted messaging campaign, when you look at the positions and writing, you see the misinformation that inspired the convoy. It’s clear the CPC has been making the most of this mans tenure and PhD to maximize the impact of their misinformation and messaging campaigns.

Canada@lemmy.ca•Ticketmaster vows crackdown on scalper accounts that buy up most tickets | CBC Investigates
12·20 days agoIt’s all about marketing, thinking Ticketmaster said to themselves, if these scalpers are making so much money, we’re missing out on profit, the crackdown on scalpers is probably more about trying to capture lost revenue. Hi, my first post on this site. :P
Pretty sad the folks going around claiming to be champions of common sense don’t even understand a extremely basic concept like “the dose makes the poison”.
