Ok, so preordering what promises to be a motorcycle but years later getting a bicycle instead that you happen to enjoy riding is also acceptable?

Possibly the pink one was discontinued because it looks a lot like a vibrator (it technically is a vibrator in the truest sense of the word anyway, but still)
I used to be annoyed at Github projects that were Linux only but didn’t mention it. Now I’m annoyed at Github projects that are Windows only but don’t mention it.
I wouldn’t say Bol.com is a good alternative to Amazon as their terms towards sellers is quite toxic, but I also wouldn’t know any other alternative either.
Bol.com has been infested with drop shippers using ai, try searching for “aanpassing titel” lol. Besides, because of their “free shipping”, most products are actually more expensive because they have the shipping price included, and you can buy it for less directly from the seller’s own website.
Same here. Bought a Tuxedo InfinityBook 15 Pro Gen 9 (what a name) some months ago and I’ve been happy with it.
Probably a large part of the hate is because of the all exclusivity deals that they made at the time.
I’ve stopped buying at MediaMarkt/Saturn long ago because of their non-existing customer service. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences everytime I have had to contact them.
Aren’t those the ones that got recalled as they can explode when you put them in the dishwasher or pour hot water in them?
They made a mod called vintagecraft before.
So that’s why he worked at Blizzard for 7 years and keeps bringing it up.
Yeah because higher view and sub count means better credibility of course. According to some people maybe?
but it doesn’t go out of date
That’s not necessarily true. There has been DLC for Train Simulator (now classic) that got delisted and at some point no longer worked due to updates to the game and not to the DLC making it incompatible. Then at some point a new version got added as DLC which you had to buy again to get a working train. (8448 Big Boy and 6446 Challenger come to mind)
Instead of a single island they are three pimples now. Yay?
I thought we switched to libre for that definition and since then used free only as in free beer.
They are somewhat isolated but not sandboxed.
Really? I am never able to find emails that haven’t been received on Fairemail or are quite old when using an Outlook and/or IMAP email address.
Either 100% or 0% is not very good for a lithium-ion battery. Around 50% is usually best, so I’d aim for that. If you aren’t going to use it for long time, charge it to around 50% and put it in battery storage mode.
Organic Maps is my go to. I don’t know if it supports public transport but it does do navigation.
Port forwarding sucks on PIA. You need to have a script running that times out every other week, which means you have to restart it and it will assign a new port that you have to set in your torrent program. It’s a pain.
I switched to Airvpn which has been perfect. It’s based in Italy and seems very privacy focused. I’m using it with a few torrent servers and the speeds have been good enough for me.
ClamAV looks for signatures of known viruses, most of which target Windows and not Linux. So it’s debatable how much more secure you really are by running ClamAV
