The squid has spoken!

You might enjoy Alan Wake 1 but the controls aren’t for everyone. I absolutely loved it all the times I played but my friend couldn’t stand the combat.

The story is very mysterious and I can’t recall any gore at all in the game. The only kind of jump scares I can recall were from the combat when I didn’t notice an enemy snuck up on me. It’s something more easily manageable if you play on the easier difficulty as there is less of a threat.

The plot is really fucking great and has some of my favorite narration in a game. And it has a type of Eldritch horror story to it. You’ve probably already experienced it in that Alan Wake dlc for Control. You don’t have to deal with it in Alan Wake like you did in Control.

Yup! There was a secret door you had to find in the first mission to continue. It was on the top right side of rectangular room.

There was also a secret GPS you can find in a mission before the desert one. It would let you know exactly where you were in the full desert map so you wouldn’t be lost.

I had so much playing that game.

James Bond 007 was one of my favorite Gameboy games.

I spent countless hours as a 4 year old trying to solve the puzzles and got through it by sheer determination.

I can still probably remember every path in the desert mission.

Sucks you can’t change it on PS5 yet.

I feel so foolish after trying to find the hidden “GAY SEX” or “SEND NUDES” messages for a bit too long.

It’s very decent. I loved playing it on the PS5. I never gave it the time it deserves so this weekend I’ll spend time beating it finally.

They completely nailed the aesthetics of the Terminator franchise.

Glad Xbox users got the upgrade. Sucks it took a few years compared to PS5.

I’m really happy that a Oblivion remaster is in the work.

Skyblivion isn’t a good alternative for me. It’s not Oblivion but just Skyrim roleplaying at Oblivion. I just want to play Oblivion but fixed up without any changes to the world or the design.

I’d never get a disc-less Xbox console since some of the backwards compatible games are still disc only. Having access to my whole collection of games was a huge selling point for me to get a Series X.
