Plus TiB are based on powers of two instead of ten which makes more sense for computers. It’s not really a practical difference (2 vs 10, not the size difference which is significant) a lot of the time but I personally find powers of two more pleasing.
1·6か月前My friend and I got an old optiplex and upgraded it with a burner so we can make CDs. It’s actually quite nice to have a physical medium for music in the car, and make mixes for different moods that you can switch between. We also know some people with older cars that only have CD and radio or the Bluetooth sucks so we’ll make CDs for them too. Tons of fun and you can buy a usb CD / DVD burner for like $10 or $15 and CD-Rs are fairly cheap.

Nah, that wouldn’t. But if you connected just the hot line (right eye of the outlet smiley face) that would do it. Wouldn’t recommend it because you could kill them by electrocution or kill even more people with a fire.

I used to but then I switched out the server I was doing backups to and have been thinking “I’ll get to it later” for many months. If anything goes wrong I’m screwed. I’ll get to it later ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I prefer grapheneos’s numeric pin+fingerprint or alphanumeric password. Plus I get to brag that I have MFA on my phone login (even if you can use only the password).

Edit: re-reading my post, I see how it looks like that’s what I meant.
I have lots of java and a smidgen of kotlin experience so I’ll probably just regular code it if I have to. I would still prefer if something already exists.

9·10か月前Did a blues brothers costume with a friend. Just a black suit that most people will probably have + sunglasses and a hat.
The effect is cumulative, you’ll do better if you quit than if you don’t, but some damage has been done. It’s a “the best time to plant a tree was 30 years ago, the second best time is today” situation.
