9·23 天前100% confirm.
I’m driving a rented car for work this week. It’s a 2025 Chevy Traverse. Not a single engineer was involved in making this car. It’s one of the worst cars I think I’ve ever driven.
The gear shift is on the steering wheel where the windshield wiper control arm would be normally.
Shifting requires pulling in that bar and then moving it up or down. To put it in Park, you press a button on the tip of it.
The parking break is also a button. But it doesn’t work unless the car engine is on. The car engine turns on by also pushing a button.
Windshield wipers? Button press. Windshield wipers plus cleaning fluid? Same button, but press it harder.
You want to adjust the treble or bass of the music you’re listening to? You can ONLY do that when the Radio is on. Then turn it off. Then switch to Spotify, etc for added Bass.
Near collision detection? It’s got the normal lights that light up. But it ALSO has a rumble pack in the driver’s chair that vibrates the left or right side of your balls if something is near that side of the car. How near? Someone walking by it on the sidewalk triggered it when I was at a stop sign, and literally jostled my nuts for 20 seconds.
This car literally sexually assaults you during near collisions.
Which I guess might be great if you’re suicidal and want to nut while almost dying.

7·1 个月前Been trying. Fucker keeps cheating at elections. Over the last 30 years, our government has slowly been purchased by private interests to the point where we can only investigate made up claims of election interference instead of actually real and viable ones. It’s maddening, as our system no longer works, and there’s literally no uncorrupted mechanism by which we can fix it.
As bad as the US is making the rest of the world, I assure you it’s worse inside the states. And getting worse by the month.
The problem is very much a self correcting one though, as Orangalf Shitler is in incredibly poor health. To the point where he hasn’t golfed since May. And the bloated sun baked bigmac usually spends every weekend golfing.
This bullshit dies with him, as the propaganda machine tied itself to his personality instead of manufacturing consent. Without his personality, even MAGA cultists will no longer consent to billionaires turning us all into well monitored and domesticated capital, milked daily for the oligarchs.

You exist in an environment that’s equivalent to a billionaires cum jar.
You have been ejaculated on so much by their propaganda you now mistake simple human behavior, comparative logic, and all facets of reality for the nonsensical political jizz you’ve been crusted in.
Whithin 3 comments the prolapsed muppet hole you call a brain went from saying I’ve been acting with too much decency, to now wanting me to calm down.
Reality exists within the middle of those extremes. You are unwilling to see it because you’ve stockholmed yourself into loving being a billionaire bukakke bitch.

Protecting children from pedofiles is obviously far too decent and therefore “left” for you. So, you should be very clear about how much you support pedofiles, rather than pretending to be too decent to admit it, you leftist woke commie.
Please keep responding with more blatant stupidity. It’s hilarious how much you’ve cucked yourself from reality.

The above is far closer to what rage actually looks like. The only reason you feel it’s “left” is because of your massive insecurity about the 99.9% of the world that exists outside the political bubble you’ve adopted in place of an actual personality.
Nothing I said has anything to do with workers, or politics. You’re just another loud ignorant insecure rightoid snowflake too afraid to leave the conservative testube to even try to think for themselves.
Please respond so I can keep dunking on your simple and obvious ignorance to my own delight.

1·3 个月前You’re missing the point completely my dude. There are no competative markets anymore. So there is no capitalism anymore. Do you understand?
Without a competative market, the system that’s extracting surplus value is NOT CAPITALISM.
Do you understand what the word “constituent” means?
It means, “a component that is part of a whole (noun) or something that’s necessary to form a part of a larger structure (adjective).”
Competative markets are constituent components to Capitalism. Thats what the wipedia page you linked says right after you stopped quoting it. So without competative markets there is no “whole” there is no capitalism.
If you sit down in a theater to watch a movie, and the projector doesn’t work, do you think you watched that movie? You bought a ticket for it. You sat down. But the constituent component of a projector broke, so all you saw was a black screen.
That is not a movie. Let alone watching one. But you would argue it is because you bought the ticket and sat down in the theater.
Capitalism’s competative markets are likewise broken, so what people are now experiencing is NOT capitalism.
This is not a hard concept to understand.

1·3 个月前Wikipedia fully agrees with me if you read the very next paragraph from your link you didn’t quote, emphasis mine:
This socioeconomic system has developed historically in several stages, and is defined by a number of constituent elements: private property, profit motive, capital accumulation, competitive markets, commodification, wage labor, and an emphasis on innovation and economic growth.
Yes I understand markets are one component of capitalism, I also understand that without them we don’t have capitalism as like you’ve said that’s a constituent component necessary for it to be defined as capitalism.
What market is there for Facebook? Google? X? Your ISP? Your government? Is it like 2 companies you have a choice between at most? Between Verizon or Quest? Between Facebook or MySpace? Between Democrat or Republican?
If there’s extremely limited choices in your markets, you don’t have markets. So you don’t have capitalism.
If you don’t have markets where things can compete for money based on their innovation, you get enshittification from the few companies who control everything. Which is very obviously where we are now.
In short, the enshittification of all things is because we no longer have competitive markets for consumers to use their money to buy what’s best. In its place, instead we have a CRAPitalist system that clearly doesn’t fit the definition of capitalism.
Which is my point. Which is why you cherry picked your answer from Wikipedia rather than reading more than the first paragraph.

22·3 个月前No, that’s what capitalism becomes when unregulated. Just as communism does the same when unregulated. The fact the US is on the literal same trajectory as Russia post USSR collapse is proof.
Open any Economics text book that defines what capitalism is, and by it’s literal definition, OP is correct. Capitalism, at its core, is about using capital + labor to make better products with better materials to compete in a market of others doing the same where consumers ultimately choose which company they buy from; in turn controlling which company thrives or dies. Competition is literally a key component of capitalism. It’s what most regulatory bodies were designed to protect (before they were captured). So without competition, we have something else that just looks like capitalism, but functions exactly like fascism.
I’m not defending capitalism by the way. I’m just pointing out what it is actually defined as versus what it has now become. I wouldn’t say Russia is Communist anymore by any means, so calling what the US and others practice now “Capitalism” is likewise mistaking what their system was in place of what it has become.

So counter-counterpoint. Doom should sound like Doom. Not like a copy and pasted RDJ from Iron Man 1.
The fact he just talks normally kinda proves my point about AI sucking ass.
Here’s that character in the comics. His voice is lettered in a distinct way that the comics even reference and make fun of.

Something that AI couldn’t reference for accuracy so didn’t, and the result is fucking hilarious 😂 if that trailer was real, Marvel would be made fun of even more than it is now.
Also, people exploding into green mist is Power Rangers 2000 level of SFX bad. Not impressed at all by the powers Doom is supposed to have in this trailer if his biggest threat is turning you into a fart cloud.

3·3 个月前Ah yes. Please tell me how real your totally made up assumptions are on how AI will develop.
if the AI companies get their hands on it.
AI already had their hands on the sum total of everything humans have created for the last 10,000 years and the best it can do is sometimes generate something mediocre 1/100 times. This mediocre result can’t be modified, or improved in anyway. And you want me to believe adding a single other library of 300k films will be enough? That’s a bucket of water in an ocean of information it already has access to and uses poorly. It will not make AI magnitudes better than it is now, the technology itself has plateaued due to its own architecture. AI Models can get better, yet results still cannot be modified, duplicated, or improved.
Which in an industry where tiny creative iterative improvements is literally the key to making something great, you want me to believe a machine that is incapable of that can somehow reach the same quality result?
You are dillusional. This tech is a dead-end creatively and it’s an embarrassment that you think it can grow by impossible leaps and bounds that exist purely in your imagination.
the outcome will likely be good enough for the average Marvel movie.
Dude. Marvel isn’t even good enough for the typical marvel movie these days. You think the guys who made 26 blockbuster hits can be replaced by AI when they can’t even successfully replace themselves with other humans? Marvel can’t even make a movie to save their own ass these days, I doubt AI has a shot.
1 scene at a time means AI has results with inconsistent locations that change as they leave the frame, inconsistent costumes on actors, inconsistent background SFX, inconsistent lighting, inconsistent cinematography. Etc etc.
AI doesn’t know how to keep the color temperature between indoor lighting and outdoor lighting consistent. So it has no control over style, rather just a single scene’s lighting. So it can’t be a cinematographer. It can just guess what each scene looks like and you better hope shot 5 is the same 5400 degrees Kelvin white balance as shot 3 or that scene is going to look like a fucking amateur shot it once edited together.
AI can’t emote. Period. In any way that makes a human interested instead of angry. Acting is a range of emotions, displayed in ways uniquely and handled by each actor. An AI can give you 100 emojis options to have appear on a face in a scene, and none of them consider the emotional arc and narrative of the film, because this is one scene being generated out of 73. So AI can look and sound like Natalie Portman, but be limited to acting like her in Star Wars episode 2: Attack of the Clones. Just constantly one emotion full throttle or another to the point it’s hilarious an Oscar winning actress gets completely forgotten about in her Star Wars appearances.
AI can’t be consistant. Period. So sets will change. Props will change. And “plot holes” or “set mistakes” will become common as AI can’t remember what something looks like when it leaves the screen. It’ll be like accidentally having a Starbucks cup in that one episode of game of thrones, but for every episode of ever, instead of just the one in season 8. Imaging that seasons mistakes but done in every shot and every scene because the robot dreaming up the production cares even less than the directors did making that season.
People like you think AI can make a movie because you’ve never made anything creative yourself to sell to the public. It’s not easy. And the public doesn’t just lap up bullshit. There’s trends and tastes and opinions that every creator whose ever made something has had to navigate to become successful. Just because an AI can get criticized instead of a human doesn’t mean that AI can get better as a creative generator. Only humans can do that through constant iteration. AI, even at its best, still needs 100 tries to get something alright. An expert filmmaker needs 1. Because they’ve made thousands of mistakes before, and learned from each. Something AI literally is incapable of and will never be able to replace. So every creative human work that is built atop the journey of failure and self improvement can never be emulated by a machine that fully lacks that mechanism. At best, it can kinda copy it 1 out of 100 tries.

31·3 个月前Good thing they won’t be convincing enough. The preview for every AI actor I’ve seen has been laughably bad. Mostly because AI has trained itself off of decades of mediocre people using social media to “act” for ad placements while forcing a fake charismatic demeanor on everything else for community building. AI actors have the depth of a porn star convincing you their work is enjoyed more than their paycheck. Except AI performs that way for every basic human emotion.
AI isn’t even intelligent my dude. All forms of it just predict what best fills in a blank, and the sum total of every bad actor on social media is the largest pool it has to pull from. Expecting good or meaningful performances from AI actors is hilariously misguided. At best we’ll get perfect looking humans with flawless facial symmetry that have the emotional depth and inflection of text emojis.
That can’t carry a 2 hour film, let alone any content that requires emotional complexity. At best we’ll get movies that are just 2 hour reaction videos in what AI thinks humans do in certain situations. Baby born = happy face. Baby died = sad face. Is about the depth you can expect from these actors.

6·3 个月前The way MAGA questions it is far from beautiful my friend.
Appreciate your long response, but let’s not pretend that Covid is here in the US today for any other reason than bad policy and rampant political propaganda. It has absolutely little to nothing to due with mRNA vaccine efficacy and everything to do with the billion dollar bullshit machine deployed to make you question reality. This is clearly evident if you simply compare existing weekly US Covid death rates to anywhere else in the world that also recieved the mRNA vaccine.
We’re currently the only country in the world where Covid deaths are still happening weekly. Because Covid is now endemic here, and likely will be permanent. If you can find a single other country in existence that used mRNA vaccines and had a similar result (Japan, Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, etc, etc) you might have a point.
But seeing as how the opposite is very clearly observable, mRNA vaccines being less effective has little to nothing to do with Covid still being in the US.

Truth. Hopefully she’s also mastering WAP bending.
