Why is everyone doing extraction shooters now? Are they really that great? I only played escape of Tarkov for a bit but I couldn’t get into it.
It’s the tail end of the latest hotness, the last one was battle royal, the one before was needlessly large, mostly dead and empty open worlds.
Tbh, I feel that extraction shooters haven’t really gotten started yet. Tarkov popularized it but it’s too hardcore for most people. Hunt Showdown is more my speed but it’s still kinda niche. I haven’t seen a title really bring the concept to the masses. This might be that title.
