Man, Iām usually one of the people on Lemmy who is, at least, defending that the Dems are not the core problem. Iām very vocal that the failure of the 2024 election was fundamentally a failure of the American people, wherein 1/3 of the country voted for fascism and 1/3 said they didnāt fucking care.
But we lost by a small margin, and Biden choosing to stay in until it was clear that he could not command the confidence of the party - which was past the point when a primary could have been reasonably held - contributed no small amount to fucking us.
